On-campus housing
Due to its convenience (location of Sunday evening registration and opening reception; proximity to Workshop venue and Tuesday evening banquet), we encourage participants to stay in the on-campus housing that has been reserved for ES ’16. Special rates have been arranged in the new Casas del Rio dormitory complex, which includes a 24-hour attendant and access to a state-of-the-art fitness room. Campus housing rates are $31/night per person for a private room in a two-bedroom suite (bath is shared with the other room in the suite)..
Information on Casas del Rio and a summary of amenities can be found here. Conference and housing check-in is between 2 PM and 6 PM on Sunday, June 26 at Casas del Rio; other check-in times are available by advance arrangement.

Sunday afternoon conference registration (2-6 PM) will be located at the clubhouse inside the green “Jemez” building; the Sunday evening welcome reception and hosted bar will be held in the Gila/Pecos courtyard just across from the clubhouse building.

Workshop participants who prefer to stay off-campus may wish to contact one of the following hotels, located a short drive or taxi ride (10-15 min.) from the conference venue. A block of rooms has been reserved at $209/night. This room rate is guaranteed until 5/29/16. Parking information
If you are staying in the dormitory, we recommend that you leave your car at the dorm and walk to the Workshop venue (see campus map). Conference venues are circled in blue on the map, and underlined in blue on the map key; parking locations are circled in red.
If you are staying in a hotel and wish to drive to campus, parking day-permits valid in all campus parking zones are available at a cost of $8 per day or $24/week. Be sure to request an “all-zone” pass. No permits are required on Sunday. Permits can be purchased at the PATS office (see map), which is open 7:30 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday. There is validated parking for PATS customers while purchasing a permit; stop at the Visitor Booth located at the entrance to the Cornell Parking Structure and let the booth attendant know you will be visiting the PATS office.
